Like anything else on this website, the best way to use these self improvement ideas is to take action on them. Techniques, strategies, advice, these things are only as effective as you make them. You can read tons of books and still not have your life changed until you actually go there and use the stuff you learned. I have to admit that for years, I would read tons of books and listen to dozens of audio programs only to have my life go nowhere. It wasn't until I started to seriously apply what I learned that my life began to change.
Self improvement is a life long process since there is always something that you can improve upon. I found it best however, to have a goal in mind, something that you can measure. This way, you can focus all of your energy on obtaining your desired outcome. Just remember to use what you learn. Don't let knowledge go to waste. As the saying goes, "Use it or lose it."
