Motivational Speech

Motivational speech by Steve Jobs at Stanford University.

R.I.P. (1955-2011)

Steve makes it clear in this speech that our failures are disguises for success. Often times, events that we feel are a disadvantage to us can turn out to be just what we need to become successful. Think back at all the times you failed to achieve a goal. If you went all out in the pursuit of the goal and failed to achieved it, you would have at least learned some things you didn't know. The more you pursue your goals, you more you will realize the rule of cause and effect. Things don't just happen for no reason. Opportunities just don't appear out of nowhere. Nothing happens for no reason.
